i tired all those websites and found nothing ):
if you have any further questions that i didn't answer here, please ask them below. thank you :)
check to see if the actor or actress have a fansite. they tend to have extensive screencap galleries of all their subject's projects (even minor roles) and appearances.
- cap-that
- screencapped.net
- superheroscreencaps
- movie-screencaps (lots of older movies!)
- fancaps.net (lots of animated caps!)

good news! i can provide screencaps!do you charge extra for screencapping or picking out (#) caps from a site?
β¦ so long as i can find a file of the movie or tv show on a torrent site.
IT DEPENDShow do i screenshot videos on youtube, netflix, whatever?
if i'm screencapping a 120-minute movie for one character and i was not expected to sort through the caps, i would not charge extra. however, if it's the main character from a multi-episode show, then yes, i would charge extra. another example, is if it's the main character from a 120-minute movie and i'm expected to pick out (#) caps for icons, yes, i would charge extra. at a minimum, you may lose out on your free 15 icons. i'm sorry, i just hate going through screencaps.
however, if you ask me to screencap and pick out caps of a minor character (let's say benedict cumberbatch in spider-man: no way home where he's only in it for like twenty minutes), then sure, i would do it and not charge extra. but if i'm expected to screencap and pick out caps of the main character (let's say tom holland in spider-man: no way home where he's in 95% of the scenes), then yes, i would charge extra.
all this to say, me charging extra for screencapping is on a case-by-case basis. it depends on the length of the medium, the character if i'm picking out the caps for icons, and how busy i am.ask at the time of commission and i can give you a more definitive answer then
i use google chrome so THIS is the extension i recommend. it works on youtube, netflix, disney+ β basically any video service, it'll work. i don't use firefox or any other browsers so i can't personally recommend any extension or app for those.what do you mean by "paparazzi" pictures? will you not do icons of a celebrity on the red carpet?
no, i'm more than ok doing icons of a celebrity on the red carpet, at media scrums, walking from the studio to their limo after doing the tonight show, and even pictures they post of themselves on their social media (or someone else does). any public event where they've consented to have their picture taken. what i will not do are icons of celebrities in their private life when they obviously do not want to be disturbed and are going about their lives, shopping or playing at the park with their kids, and the paparazzi are hidden in the bushes snapping pictures of them. situations where they haven't consented to have their picture taken.i have 18 caps for a request. is that ok?
sure, that's cool. look, i get it. you want some variety and not every cap translates very well to an icon. so you want other options. i think the maximum i'd do on a request would be twenty.hi, i'm a maniac who wants to commission 300+ icons at one time. you ok with that?
yes. the way i do these giant orders is that i break them into sets of 250-ish. it helps me because it's not so overwhelming and it helps you because you're not waiting for two weeks for your icons (which also helps me because i'm not stressing that it's taking me so long to complete a commission). the process is that i do 250-ish icons, send them to you, you pay then (or not if you paid at the beginning), and i'll continue with the remaining caps. rinse and repeat till done.my caps contain nudity/sex/gore/violence β are you ok with that?
yupe. the more nc-17 the better tbhcan you edit the color of my person's hair/eyes/skin/whatever?
i'll try, yes! and, in most cases, i won't charge extra for it. cases where i would charge extra is if you ask me to edit multiple things (like hair and eyes. or hair and clothing. etc etc.). or if you want me to lighten dark hair or dark eyes, or if you have 30+ caps. you know, things that will take time and energy. just expect that it'll take your commission or request longer to complete.

when you save a picture online or hover over a picture in your files, you'll notice some numbers. something like 205 x 310, or 1000 x 720. it's the picture's dimensions in pixels. so yeah, a measurement thing. it goes WIDTH x HEIGHT.
in landscape, the width will be larger than the height.
while in portrait, the width will be smaller than the height.
so what you want are pictures with big dimensions. big dimensions mean clearer resolutions and (theoretically*) less grainy icons. as long as the picture's width and height are larger than 720 pixels, i will do it.
if you have any further questions, feel free to ask. thanks and have a good one!
*i say "theoretically" because darker caps tend to turn grainy as you brighten them. that's just how the cookie crumbles.
